Guitar Building Courses

Learn to Build Your Own Guitar

Join our hands-on guitar making courses and walk away with more than just skills — you’ll leave with an instrument you built yourself. Courses run in small groups with full guidance, from tonewood selection to final stringing.

What You'll Learn

Our courses are immersive, supportive, and structured around traditional techniques used by professional luthiers.

During the course, you'll learn to:

  • Select and work with tonewoods (spruce, cedar, rosewood, maple, etc.)
  • Bend sides and brace soundboards
  • Shape and set necks with precision
  • Fit fretboards and install frets
  • Apply finishes by hand (shellac, oil, or lacquer)
  • Set up the instrument for optimal playability
  • Understand guitar acoustics and structural design

By the end, you'll walk away with a playable, professional-grade guitar — built entirely by your own hands.
